Learn moreI was born in Taiwan and raise in Los Angeles for my teenagehood. I had received my Bachelor's degree at University of Southern California and spent most of my early adulthood exploring the financial services industry. In my free time, I like to indulge in basketball, traveling, jamming to EDM, and lots of good sushi
Today I am a developer. My passion for computers had stemmed from fond childhood memories of playing Scratch web games with my brother, and from furthering this interest by taking an online CS50 course: Introduction to Computer Science hosted by Harvard University, I decided to study coding full time. Now I make full stack application and found the perfect outlet for my creative energy in software engineering.
I had received my Bachelor's degree at University of Southern California with a concentration in Finance at the USC Marshall of Business. While at USC, I was the member of various student organizations, such as Trojan Investing Society and Global Brigades. I had also awarded two semesters of Dean's List for students who maintain at least 3.5 grade point average.
My first role out of college was a valuation associate at a mid-sized national accounting firm where my main responsibility was creating complex financial models utilizing various forms of the income, market, and cost approaches to perform enterprise and equity valuations of companies across a variety of industries with an emphasis on the Technology industry for financial reporting, tax reporting, and management planning purposes.
Most recently, I worked as a financial analyst at a large utility company based in NorCal where I focused on monthly financial reporting and financial analysis to assess IT department performance and utilized data visualization tools such as Excel modeling and Power BI to explain variances.
